Far Cry 2 Being Patched With Hardcore Mode

PS3 Will Soon Have 45nm Chip

By the middle of this year the PS3 is expected to have a 45 nanometer chip, as opposed to its current 65 nanometer chip. Benefits of a 45nm chip are reduced power consumption and a cooler running chip, meaning the PS3 will let off less heat.

Source Engine Used For Fire Drills

Researchers at Durham University have created a fire drill simulator using the Source Engine by Valve. This is the same engine that powers Valve's most popular videogame title, Half Life 2. Using the 3D engine they recreated their university to allow for fire drill tests.

Street Fighter IV DLC More Expensive on Xbox 360

In the newest issue of the popular Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu resides news of the Street Fighter IV DLC. Specifically the costume DLC. According to Famitsu each of the costume packs is just a little bit more expensive on the Xbox 360 versions of the DLC.

Left 4 Dead, Rock Band 2 Sell Over 1 Million Copies

Just like Mirror's Edge and Dead Space, Left 4 Dead and Rock Band 2 have sold over 1 million copies. Left 4 Dead sold 1.8 million copies while Rock Band 2 sold 1.9 million said EA at yesterdays press conference.

Mirror's Edge, Dead Space Sell 1 Million Each

Mirror's Edge and Dead Space were both new IPs last year, and both from EA. Now both have them have managed to sell 1million copies. While Dead Space was very well received critically, Mirror's Edge wasn't as much. It was a very polarizing game, to say the least.
