Mirror's Edge and Dead Space were both new IPs last year, and both from EA. Now both have them have managed to sell 1million copies. While Dead Space was very well received critically, Mirror's Edge wasn't as much. It was a very polarizing game, to say the least. So to see it sell a million is a little surprising but I'm glad because I really enjoyed the game.
